Nevin E. Adams J.D., Editor-in-Chief, PLANSPONSOR, and Dean of the PLANSPONSOR InstituteNevin has overall editorial responsibility for PLANSPONSOR.com and PLANSPONSOR magazine, leading those publications for the past six years. He is also the creator, writer, and publisher of PLANSPONSOR.com's NewsDash, the industry's leading daily source for information focused on the critical issues impacting benefits industry professionals currently read each business day by more than 40,000 readers worldwide. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, he is a 27-year veteran of the retirement services industry, having held senior positions at Wachovia Bank and Northern Trust prior to joining PLANSPONSOR. He holds a B.S. and J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Fred Reish, Esq.Fred Reish is a partner of the law firm of Reish Luftman Reicher & Cohen, and serves as the Managing Director of the firm. He specializes in employee benefits law. He is a member of the bar in the State of California, the State of Arizona, and the District of Columbia. John Carl, Executive Director, PLANSPONSOR InstituteIn his current position at PLANSPONSOR, John launched PLANSPONSOR Institute, the company's education and consulting platform. He has extensive industry experience with product management and strategy roles, including running Alliance Capital's Global Product Management effort. As a former retail financial adviser, wholesaler, and district sales manager, John's knowledge of the marketplace is broad-based. He graduated from Lehigh University and has completed Executive Continuing Education coursework at Columbia University. Steff C. Chalk, Founder and President, CHALK 401(k) Advisory BoardSteff C. Chalk is founder and president of CHALK 401(k) Advisory Board. Since 1995, CHALK 401(k) Advisory Board has served in a fiduciary capacity to over $10 billion of retirement plan assets. The client list has included corporations, non profits, and governmental units. A founding judge for the PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Advisor of the Year award, Steff holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor designation from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business, Center for Fiduciary Studies, and degrees from The American Institute of Banking, The Kentucky School of Banking, and The National Trust School. He currently serves as adjunct faculty to the Finance Department at Northern Kentucky University, and he has also served on the faculty of the Midwest Trust School, as founding faculty for the Economics/Finance Camp of Northern Kentucky University, and on the Social Security Choice.org Advisory Board. A frequent speaker, he has conducted domestic, original research on a variety of Investment and 401(k) plan related topics, and he has authored several articles concerning investment management and retirement services. He is also the co-author of "How to Build a Successful 401(k) and Retirement Plan Advisory Business." Steff obtained his Masters and Bachelor of Business Administration Degrees from Central Michigan University. He also obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Northern Kentucky University. |
